Our Mission
At North Wind Horse Farm, we are dedicated to providing the highest quality horse boarding services. Our mission is to create a safe, nurturing environment where horses can thrive and owners can feel confident in their care.
Since 1990, North Wind Horse Farm in Wallkill, New York has offered horse back riding lessons, horse boarding and training, horse shows, clinics and summer horse back riding camps beneath the beautiful backdrop of the Shawangunk Mountains.
We welcome all riders from ages 5 and up, english or western.

Rosemary Budney
Rosemary Budney has taught dressage, hunt seat and western for more than 35 years.
In 1990 Rosemary and her husband Chris opened North Wind Horse Farm where she teaches students from age 5 and up. Rosemary was certified in 1995 by the American Riding Instructors Association in Hunt Seat and Dressage Level II.
She believes in giving all her students a solid dressage foundation which is both beneficial to the horse as well as the rider.
Rosemary updated her education by attending or riding in clinics with masters such as Lendon Gray, Steffen Peters, Michael Poulin, Conrad Schumacher, Jane Savoie and the International Dressage Symposium with Klaus Balkenhol, Colonel Christian Carde and Dr. Gerd Heuschmann.
